Stromboli Making

9 Via Toscana, Salem, NH 03079

Stromboli is a true Italian-American invention born in the Philadelphia area in the 1950's by an Italian immigrant named Nazzareno "Nat" Romano.  Nat came to America and worked as a stonemason, but soon began selling tomato pies from a wagon.  This eventually led to him to owning his own Pizzeria where the Stromboli was first made, and sold for 45 cents.  The word Stromboli comes from a Volcanic Italian island just north of Sicily.

Join us for a hands-on Stromboli making class where you'll roll, fill, and bake your own golden, layered stromboli packed with savory Italian meats, melty cheese, and your choice of toppings.  Our Chef Instructor, Anthony Pino will walk you through every step--from preparing the dough and layering the fillings to rolling it into a perfect log, sealing it, and baking it to crispy perfection!
